Will the services include traditional High Holy Day prayers?
Yes. The services will honor the classic heart of the High Holy Days, including meaningful Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur liturgy, Kol Nidre, music, reflection, and prayer.At the same time, the services will include creative, accessible elements such as English songs, meditations, teachings, and new interpretations of sacred themes.
What if I do not know the prayers?
That is completely fine.
You do not need to know Hebrew, know the prayers, own a prayer book, or have any particular background to participate. You can sing, listen, read along, reflect quietly, or simply be present.
How much does it cost?
Registration is pay-what-you-can, with a minimum contribution of $18 for access to all services.
If you can comfortably contribute more, your support helps make this online High Holy Day experience possible and helps keep it accessible for others.
Will I be asked for money during the services?
We want to be very clear: this will not be a service where you are constantly asked for money.
We may gently remind participants once or twice during the High Holy Days that contributions are welcome, but we will not interrupt the spiritual flow of the services with repeated fundraising. Our purpose is to create a meaningful, welcoming, wholesome High Holy Day experience — not to pressure you.
